As the newest addition to the multiplayer survival game genre, V Rising has already garnered a lot of attention for its potential. The game sets players out as newly awakened vampires who need to rebuild their castle while surviving in their harsh environment. Thus, like similar titles, fans will need to gather plenty of V Rising resources to build their strength and fortify their castle. One vital resource, Grave Dust, is a somewhat rare find that can only be dropped by specific enemies in even more specific locations. For fans needing help grinding for resources, here are good places to farm Grave Dust in V Rising.

Grave Dust is only spawned by defeating skeletal mages and priest enemies in a cemetery or graveyard-type locations. Basically, anywhere dead bodies are stored. They tend not to drop from the common skeletal enemies, so focus on these more formidable enemies if you want to save time grinding. Additionally, some can be found by looting the stone coffins and other chests in these areas, so be on the lookout for those as well.

Some good suggestions for places are the Desecrated Graveyard and the Forgotten Cemetery to farm Grave Dust in V Rising, both of which can be found in the Farbane Woods region of the map. Another thing to look out for when choosing a location that the “Important Loot” description for each area. This will always have three of the most common items in each area. So if Grave Dust is on this list, preferably right at the top, then it will be a good place to scavenge for resources.

Grave Dust is essential because it is used to craft the V Rising magic weapons in the game, such as the Duskwatcher’s Ring. Another way to get Grave Dust is to build a production machine for it.

First, fans will need to set up the Grinder Production Machine, which requires eight Planks, four Copper Ingots, and four Whetstones to make. To build the Grinder, open the menu inside fans’ castle and go into the Production tab. Then, click “Refinement Tab” to construct the Grinder in the appropriate area. Once the Grinder has been built, it takes 100 bones to make one piece of grave Dust. While that may sound like a lot, these bones are dropped from the common skeletal enemies, so fans will already be working towards this goal while hunting through the cemeteries for Grave Dust.

V Rising is available as Early Access for PC via Steam.
